Use a recorded session or presentation — Pigeon transcribes the audio and builds a guide from it.
From the Sessions dashboard, click + New guide in the left sidebar. In the creation panel, select AI Builder, then choose Upload video as your input method.
Drag and drop your video file onto the upload area, or click Browse to select it from your computer. Supported formats include .mp4, .mov, and .webm.
Once uploaded, Pigeon extracts the audio track and sends it to your AI provider for transcription. You'll see a progress indicator while this happens. The time varies depending on video length — a 10-minute video typically takes around 30–60 seconds to process.
Once transcription is complete you'll see the raw text. Take a moment to skim through it — auto-transcription can occasionally mishear words, especially with technical or industry-specific terms. You can edit the transcript directly before proceeding.
If there are sections you don't want included in the guide (introductions, off-topic sections), you can delete them from the transcript here.
Click Generate guide. Pigeon will analyse the transcript and break it into logical sections. Once complete, you'll land in the guide editor where you can review, rename, and refine each section before using it in a live session.
